     1In r23954 we restored -z as the default for LPRng, which was easy enough to do with the Athena lprng servers.

    3 When printing a PDF from evince, no zephyr was sent when the print finished, but I am fully able to zwrite myself.

    5 I think that this is a cups.mit.edu problem, but we might as well track it here. 
     3Athena's CUPS servers should also gain support for sending zephyrs when your print job completes (or runs into an error), and this option should be set by default.
