Description

Ctrl-Alt-Backspace is handy in the clusters when all else fails. However, in the new world order, one apparently enables this differently:  https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Config/DontZap

Alt-SysRq?-K tells the kernel to kill all processes on the current virtual terminal, which should work at least as well as Ctrl-Alt-Backspace used to (and people on the internets seem to agree), so I propose documenting that and moving on.

See also  Ubuntu’s rationale for leaving Ctrl-Alt-Backspace disabled.

Do we still care? Alt-Sysrq-K works well enough, and I'd rather not diverge from upstream (and would rather take the opportunity to teach people about magic-sysrq)
