Description
When I plug two monitors into the dual DVI outputs of w-a-thornhump-iii (Natty debathena-workstation), by default, the machine mirrors the displays between the two monitors. It should really split the desktop across the two screens.
I can fix this up in the monitors dialog by hand (uncheck the option to mirror, and force the monitors to their highest resolution), so it's not a matter of this not being supported by the graphics card.

It's been pointed out that mirroring is actually a saner default, in the case of projectors or one monitor not working, so we should probably only do this for cluster, and that only if we decide to eventually do dual-head Athena cluster machines (like the WinAthena? ones).
