Printing

Pharos
All public IS&T printing is now through Pharos. Pharos works by printing to an LPD queue called either mitprint or mitprint-color (B&W and color, respectively) on the host mitprint.mit.edu. The username passed by lpr needs to be a valid Kerberos username. If it's not, the user won't be able to release their job.
debathena-printing-config
Sigh.
CUPS
Ubuntu's default printing subsystem is CUPS. We configure the Pharos queues on all Debathena machines using standard CUPS tools like lpadmin.
